Step by Step Operation Process

Rhinoplasty surgery continues for 2-3 hours depending on the method used by the doctor and the patient’s condition. The common steps in nose surgery are listed below.

1- Anesthesia
The techniques used in rhinoplasty may vary from person to person. General anesthesia is applied according to the operation to make the person feel more comfortable and do not feel pain.

2- Surgical Procedure
After applying the necessary anesthetics, the doctor starts the surgical procedure. The surgery is decided before the operation and the operation process start.

3- Tampon
The nose tissue should be protected for the first few days after the nose surgery. After cutting the incisions, the splint is placed for protection. The doctor can apply a tampon to the nose.

• An overtaking date is determined (recommended during the week and in the evening).

● Formation of a patient document.

ARRIVAL

 

Day 1:

• Meet & Greet  of the patient by a Bulgarian or English speaking assistant and accommodating  the patient in a hotel.

• Consultation with the doctor for rhinoplasty surgery.

• Carrying out all necessary tests in the hospital.

 

Day 2:

• In the morning check-in at the hospital.

• Visitation of anesthesiologist and doctor for rhinoplasty surgery.

• Transfer of the patient to the operating room with full anesthesia (from 2 to 4 hours).

• Arrival to the room and control of the medical staff.

• 1 night in the hospital under the full supervision of the medical staff.

 

Day 3:

• Morning visitation of the doctor, check out from the hospital and check-in at the hotel.

• Issuing the patient's epicrisis, handing over the patient's medications and instructions for their use.

• 4 to 5 days accomodating  in a hotel under the supervision of a medical staff

 

Day 4:

• Control examination by the doctor, removal of tampons from the nose.

 

Day 5:

• Morning visit of a medical staff (change of bandages and control).

 

Day 6:

• Morning visit of a medical staff (change of bandages and control).

 

Day 7:

• Control examination by the doctor, removal of splints from the nose.
• Return of the patient to the country.
